CLASSES START THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2011

SOUNDWAVE is an after-school program of group music lessons taught by professional musicians at affordable rates. The program was developed from the belief that affordable, quality music instruction should be made available to any child, especially in light of today's budgetary realities.

SOUNDWAVE offers small group classes in keyboard, drums, and guitar. All classes are held on Thursdays at Smith Memorial Presbyterian Church in Fairview, Oregon (2420 Fairview Ave, between Halsey and Sandy on NE 223rd).

SOUNDWAVE has a state-of-the-art keyboard lab on-site. Our Soundwave Keyboard Lab has six Roland digital keyboards and an organ generously provided by Rodgers Instruments of Hillsboro. While traditional piano lessons are usually taught one-on-one with solitary practice time, SOUNDWAVE offers kids the opportunity to create and perform music with friends in a fun and social atmosphere, and to make amazing sounds on these state-of-the-art instruments.

Beginning Guitar for children ages 8 - 12 (3:30 - 4:15pm)
Beginning Snare for children ages 8 - 12 (4:30 - 5:15pm)

Students are expected to have an instrument at home for practice. See the instructor for details.

Remember classes begin Thursday, September 29, so register early to reserve your spot!

TUITION

For just $129 for children's classes and $169 for adult's, SOUNDWAVE classes include 10 weeks of music instruction by a professional musician, lesson books, handouts, and drumsticks (if applicable) - just about everything you or your child will need, all of this for less than private lessons! Private lesson are also available by arrangement with the instructor.
